Teemu Lepistö has worked at Buildie since 2020 as Scrum Master and Lead Mobile Developer. Jaakko Rasi works at Buildie as a Jr. Test Engineer.
Teemu has been in the software industry for almost twenty years. Before joining Buildie, Teemu spent several years at Nordea developing mobile banking. The first 10 years of his career he spent at Nokia, mainly in network base station and phone development projects. In addition, Teemu has experience in software development in two start-up companies. Teemu entered the world of software development when he studied engineering at Oulu University of Applied Sciences (major in programming embedded systems).
Jaakko Rasi graduated last year as an engineer with a major in Software Engineering and has worked at Buildie for a year. Jaakko joins in Nörttilive in the second half.
Miikka is the Founder of Kooders and Tomi is our newest junior recruit.
Remu has recently switched to software development and is passionate about front-end development and the visual feedback it brings. He was attracted to the industry by the feeling of coding, which reminded him of building with Legos as a kid. Often found in the office, Remu enjoys the sense of community at Exove and in his spare time he enjoys various sports and movies.
Tiia, Juho, Jaani and Aleksi are developers at Fraktio with several years of experience in the field. They work as consultants in various customer projects, and have accumulated experience and lessons to be shared over the years. Currently, these talented professionals work as frontend and fullstack developers and DevOps consultants.
Toni is a computer science student who joined Hiottu last February as an intern and stayed as a summer employee. After the summer he has continued to work alongside his studies.
Toni's areas of expertise currently include web development and test automation, but he has an interest in all kinds of programming and learning new technologies. He mostly spends his free time playing sports and hanging out with his friends, but Toni also enjoys being at home with his partner and their dog. He also occasionally plays video games and recently he has become hooked on chess as well.
Ari-Matti has worked in the games industry for about ten years. During that time he's mostly worked as a game designer, but he also has experience as a project manager, teacher and lecturer. His hobbies are woodworking, tabletop roleplaying games and writing.
Jan has around 6 years of experience in programming, most of which on game development. He has worked with VR games and gamification for around 5 years, 3 of those at Mekiwi. During free time, Jan likes to climb, make food and play casual games.
